Appearance:
Ivy has very delicate, pale skin, that almost never has any blemishes upon it. A very light dusting of freckles is sprinkled over her nose, which is small, and curls up a tiny bit at the tip. Her eyes are a dark, piercing blue, and are frequently rimmed with dark kohl liner. Her lips are on the fuller side - usually only a coat of chapstick on them. Ivy does not care too much for things like lipgloss or lipstick, though she does love eye makeup.Hometown: New York City, New York
Her hair is a dark brown/bordering on black colour. Usually worn down, although sometimes, she may tie it up in a ponytail or a messy up-do. Oftentimes, there may also be a coloured streak in it - with the colours ranging from purple to green, as she likes to change it up from time to time.
Her clothing style is all her own. It's indescribable - a mixture of vintage and bright colours, big bags and skinny jeans. She loves fashion, and many of her clothes are of her own creation. However, she's usually seen wearing skinny jeans, some type of slip-on Vans, and a vintage tee-shirt, with her big sunglasses perched on her nose if its' sunny, and a hoodie on if the weather is cooler.

Personality:
Ivy is usually a pretty outgoing person. She loves parties, and is usually the one ready to meet a stranger and strike up a conversation. This is probably the reason her group of friends is so large. Though it is large, she adores each and every one of her friends, as they are all important to her. Her friends are her life vests to cling to when sometimes, life just gets bad.History:
With guys, Ivy is quite the opposite. Though usually able to talk freely and joke with members of the opposite sex that she is friends with, it's a lot harder for her if it's a guy that she particularly likes. She'll clam up, oftentimes having no idea what to talk about. Also, she has a tendency to flush deeply if the guy, in turn, talks to her.
Also, Ivy can be a bit of a hellion. She knows that there are rules, but sometimes, she just doesn't care. If she really wants something, or to do something, she won't regard the rules - and break them if she has to. More than once has she gotten in trouble for this, but it doesn't really concern her.
Ivy was born to Melanie and Daniel Matthews on February 13th, 1989 in New York City, New York. The family was well-off from the start, with Ivy's father being a CEO of a very impressive electronics company, so Ivy had everything she could possibly want from a young age. Though her parents were never really home during her childhood - they were either away on business or at a party for another colleague - Ivy remembers her childhood fondly. Though she wasn't really fond of the nannies that her parents left to take care of her, she remembers her friendship with her brother, Ryan, happily.Income Level: Pretty rich.
They were best friends because of their parents frequent absences. Ivy adored him a lot, and it just about killed her when he was diagnosed with a terminal form of leukemia at age 12. He died a year later. Though there had been a 3-year difference between the siblings, Ivy fell into a deep depression, mourning for her older brother for about two years.
At age 12, she finally understood that it was time to let the past be exactly that - the past, and she finally stopped crying herself to sleep at night. But that didn't mean she didn't miss Ryan. In an attempt to get her life more 'normal', her parents sent her to a public school in the city, instead of the private one that she was so accustomed to. Ivy hated it there. Everyone either taunted her or tried to become false friends with her because of her family's money there.
After suffering through much of middle school in New York City's public school system, her parents finally decided to re-enroll her in private school. For some reason, it wasn't as great as Ivy remembered it. She spent one last year at Manhattan Preparatory School, [her freshmen year] before her parents decided to send her off to boarding school in Canada.
And that's how she ended up at Abbington Heights. Will she fit in at this school, for once? Or will she again, feel like an outcast because of her different beliefs and family's social standing?
Reason for attending Abbington Heights: Her parents thought it was time for a change of schools and enviroment.
Favorite Memories:
Ivy's fondest memories are those of her childhood - ages 1-9 - with her brother Ryan. That, and she also keeps close the memories of the good times spent with her friends and of good concerts that she's attended.Fun Facts:

It was oddly cold for a normal June day in the city. The temperatures were in the mid to low 60's, the sky was cloudy, and a bit of a chilly breeze blew throughout. The day was well, for a lack of better words - gray. Though the streets were bustling with people, and full as usual, the seats in outdoor cafes and benches in Central were empty. For this exact reason, Ivy chose that day to head to the Park, with her camera in hand. Dressed in her normal uniform of an over-sized black hoodie, tattered old jeans, and her dirty, worn, but extremely comfortable Converse, she carried her Canon 20D in her hands. The light was perfect for pictures, and though she may not find any interesting characters out and about today, at least she could shoot some close-ups of birds and whatnot.
Crossing the street with hoards of people around her, she glanced around herself, absorbing the different styles and attitudes of the other people around her. She snapped a few quick shots of the crowds around her, making for an interesting affect in the picture. Smiling as she looked at the shots in her digital display, she crossed the street into the Park. There were a couple of dog-walkers outside with their pets, and a couple making out on a bench here and there, but for the most part - empty, like she expected. She snapped a picture of a jogger in a bright orange tracksuit, and her chihuahua, and walked along the sidewalk into the park.
Stopping every once in a while to take another picture, Ivy found herself enjoying her walk. The weather was perfect to her - at least it was for a walk - and she found herself walking farther and farther. Finally, she decided to stop at a bench and rest for a bit, and just view the pictures she had already taken, while discreetly viewing the people that passed her by.
