For some strange reason, unknown to Clara, she was granted the honor of being the shortest in the family. Ha. Some honor that is. She's not horrendously short, standing around 5'2", but detests it all the same. Clara finds it rather difficult to tell her siblings off if they are taller than she. It puts her at a slight disadvantage and that bothers her to no end.Hometown: islesboro, maine
Her dark brown hair falls somewhere between her shoulders and mid-back; she's never exactly sure where. It's one of her favorite physical traits she has. Now, you must understand that Clara is not usually a vain girl, but when it comes to her hair...well...she doesn't hesitate to notice it when she walks by a mirror. Whether worn up in a tidy or messy bun, down and forgotten about, or tied up with a bow, you can be sure she wants it to be noticed.
Her sparkling sky blue eyes could be and have been said to be the "window to her soul." Regardless of how desperately hard she tries, she can't mask what she's feeling when it comes to them. They show her sadness, or happiness. But that's not a bad thing all the time.
Not only do her eyes seem to be the window to her soul, her smile seems to be another window. After all, what house only has one window? White, slightly crooked teeth give her grin a certain je ne sais quoi. She smiles widely, and often, due to the fact that she believes a smile on one face is contagious; it very well may be.
As far as her clothes go, you could leave it at the fact she's rather old-fashioned. But, alas, that would be slightly an understatement. Rarely, very rarely, is Clara seen with pants on. She was the first little girl to grace her family, and as such her mother felt the need to dress her up and, in essence, take the child under her wing. Clara can be seen wearing long skirts and dresses the majority of the time.
That's only when she's in public, though. She would shirk the responsibilities of being proper in a moment to be comfortable on her own time. Clara can be found in tank tops and comfortable pants, when she's on her own or with family. They love her; she doesn't feel the need to dress up.

Another Responsibility?! Clara has heard this word many a time over the years and she has come to recognize it as a word most people dread. She simply cannot understand why. Being in control of a situation? Why, not? She's taken to the word rather well over the years, and how could she not? Being part of the 'smarties' crowd, Clara ends up taking on quite a bit more than the normal person, but she works well under all the pressure.History:
Enjoy the unexpected. Anything unexpected is enjoyed immensely by Clara. Whether it be sneaking out on a whim, or an A on a test for which she 'forgot' to study [not that this happens much], these things thrill Clara to no end. It could be linked to mischief very easily. In order to keep things interesting, it is not uncommon to see Clara up to something. She's up for pretty much anything that is interesting.
Why would you say that?! Surprisingly, Clara is ridiculously sensitive to comments from others. Shetries notrefuses to show it at the time the comments is said, but they hurt her to the very core of her being. She takes jokes as serious, when she should know her friends would never say things about her. Her journal is spotted and smudged with tears that are the responsibility of ill thought out remarks.
All you must learn is just to love and be loved in return. Clara is a complete and hopeless romantic. She loves the small, sweet gestures...they mean much much more to her than the large ones. She is known to follow her heart more often than her head, and this often leads her into trouble.
How do you understand what I'm feeling so well? Naturally a kind-hearted person, Clara would do anything to help someone who needed it. As it was mentioned earlier, she is incredibly sensitive, not only to comments said by others, but she has the unique quality of being able to relate to almost anyone. Though some, a very scant few, are unable to be read by Clara, she tends to feel what another is feeling.
Let me help you. Clara detests this comment made to her. She likes to think of herself as a completely independent person; she doesn't often ask for help from others, though she gives help to others on a regular basis. Clara likes the feeling of independence.
Take me first. Clara's siblings mean more to her than her own life. They're everything. If ever a moment came where she would have to make a life-altering decision for the three of them, she would put their happiness and well-being first...without a second thought. This is sometimes her downfall.
Background Singer. Clara's not one to make a move for the spotlight, preferring to let Felicity and occasionally Theodore take that spot. After all, when her two sisters are eager to impress, why should she be one to stand in their way? In all honesty, she's slightly uncomfortably shy. It's not that she's incapable of opening up to others, just that she's much more guarded than the norm. Ah, well, we all have our issues.
The fire burns bright. My, oh my, what a temper Clara Rose has. An extremely unexpected thing, many people are often thrown off-guard by her temper. She can lose it in a moments notice...and it's not a pretty sight. She always feels extremely foolish afterward, but simply cannot help it at the time. Clara detests it.
And the story begins. Clara's story began on a bright summer's day. She was born in a hospital, as most children are, on the thirteenth day of the seventh month...a Friday of all days. Two loving parents and a one-year-old brother welcomed her into the world, and couldn't have been more happy for a little baby girl.Income Level: stuck in the middle
The plot thickens. Nearly a year later, another girl entered the Williams family. Little Miss Felicity. Clara didn't really understand what was going on at the time, but she was a bit jealous at first. What child wouldn't be? She had just lost some of the attention of her two parents, the attention she tried so hard to earn even at one...it was natural for her to be upset. But with time, the idea of Felicity grew on Clara, and she came to adore the new little bundle of joy.
Fast Friends. As the girls grew, so did their friendship with one another. By the time Clara was five and Felicity four, the two were as thick as thieves and virtually never left one another's side. They shared secrets, laughter, jokes...all the normal things sisters share. But they also shared an unexplainable bond...one much like the bond twins would share. They knew when one didn't feel well, and did everything in their power to make that not happen....or at least, as much as four and five year olds can do.
On the other hand... Clara and her brother never really...well, took to each other. Sure, he was excited to have a little sister to begin...but after a while, the awe had disappeared, and the baby was still there. He couldn't understand why it wouldn't just go home. Deep down, he loves her, but on the surface? Not so much. And it only got worse over time. Theo wouldn't hesitate to barge into her room when she had friends over, and caught her changing more than once. He and his friends took enjoyment in terrorizing little Clara. Never Felicity, nay Felicity managed to charm them or send them off with one look--Clara never mastered that look. Shame, as it really would have made her childhood easier.
School! Armed with lunchbox and backpack, Clara set off excited about her first day of school. Unlike her brother, she took to school at once--especially math. Even at a young age she had no problem understanding it. Though most people thought she enjoyed it, the fact was quite the opposite. She understood it easily, but hated all the attention she got because of it. It also pushed her away from the popular crowd she so longed to be a part of--perhaps one day.
Up to the Present. The Williams' family moved to Canada the summer before Clara's eighth grade year. She was rather distressed at having to leave her few close friends--not that there had been many. But was thrilled at the chance to finally be able to join the group of her choosing. Unfortunately, her brother and sister wouldn't let anyone forget that she was good at math--her sister because she thought it was amazing, and her brother because he knew it'd irk Clara. So, with help from her siblings, Clara fell into the smart group again. Lovely. But this time, she found the piano--and quickly fell in love with it. She poured her soul out through music, and soon began to write her own songs. The murders at Abbington high have left Clara mystified, but she's not too worried she'll be targeted. After all, who'd want to attack a girl who listens in the shadows? Umm...well, at least she's not noticed much. Pegged as the strange, smart girl. Hopefully, that'll be enough to save her--she only hopes her siblings can fare as well

From Camp Riverside, I hope that's okay."Leila couldn't help but laugh and roll her eyes when Mere's bottom lip quivered. She'd always been able to make it quiver on command; it was just something she did. Leila was so very used to it now, that it didn't even have an effect on her. Oh well, sometimes when you got to know someone well, their little quirks didn't seems so...well, quirky.
Her eyebrow shot up when Mere saluted her; sarcasm was not a good thing when it came to her art supplies--not a good thing at all. "Mere...if you do anything to mess up my p--" Leila was cut off by Mere's confirmation that she'd be really careful. "Good, you'd better be."
She smiled as Mere played with the paintbrush--typical, she couldn't be expected to just use the paintbrush, no, that'd be much too normal. Shaking her head, Leila returned to her painting, adding splatters of more colors. When she had a bit of paint in an area, she decided to experiment a bit. So, she flipped her paintbrush over and with the end, she swirled some of the splatters together, giving it a marble-y look. Lovely.
And then she felt something wet hit her arm. What was that?!
Taking a glance at her arm, she saw the blue paint on her arm. Mere. Why Leila had thought Mere could be entertained for some time, she'd never know. But Leila knew better than to make a big deal about it--at least while her canvas was still in reach. As such, she ignored the paint on her arm and added a few more splatters onto her painting, swirling it in a couple more spots. After satisfied with the result, she carried it over to a table so it could dry--out of reach.
Returning to her paint, she dipped the paintbrush into it and, making sure Mere wasn't watching, slung the paint at Mere. Bright green paint really was quite lovely against a black background such as Mere's hoodie. She knew there would be repercussions, but Leila didn't care.
You see, lucky for Leila, she was wearing her painting clothes. Mere on the other hand? She didn't paint, so how could she have painting clothes? So, Leila had a bit of an upper hand at the moment. Marvelous."
