Footfalls echoed in the suddenly quiet cafeteria as a young girl walked in, her arms holding a drawing book close to her. She walked quickly, as if she was going through immense amounts of pain just to take another step towards an empty table. Her stunning green eyes locked on an empty table, her pace quickening. If someone were to take it, she'd be terribly embarrassed. She truly didn't want to deal with rude people today. But, you can't avoid a lot of things that happen. She'd just have to deal. She always had.
This young girl, was Adalia Jade. She was the ever-so-quiet artist of Abbington High. No one talked to her. Not like she would talk back anyways. She usually kept to herself, trying not to get in anyones way. What was the point anyways? They probably wouldn't like her in the long run anyways. Adalia's personality was quite decieving. Many people thought she'd be quiet, kind and sweet the entire time. No. That wasn't the case. Adalia could be down right mean, she just didn't show it often.
She had always been a bit self conscious of herself. Adalia had the 'I Hate Myself' emo outlook on life. She walked around the halls of the school, always double checking herself. She didn't make eye contact with anyone. She didn't even answer her teachers questions half the time. This caused for major frustrations in class. Not like the teachers could call her parents anyways. They wouldn't care. Her father basically disowned her. They would just tell Abbington to expell her and be done with it. Then, she would have nowhere to go.
Adalia finally reached the table and sat down. She opened her drawing book and pulled a pencial out of the messy bun she had put her hair in today. The cafeteria's noise level seemed to raise back up and it was like she had never entered it at all. It was all the same to Adalia. All she needed was her drawing book anyways. [/blockquote]
